They must have heard me COMPLAINING about Bean’s lack of poopy diapers, and acted swiftly with the most sticky, abundant pile possible. Hence the impromptu bath.

Hello there. I can’t remember quite how I found your page, but I’ve enjoyed checking in the last few days. And, it’s about time I said hello. You post such beautiful pictures of your son (what’s Bean short for? or, a nickname for?) and your town (so charming!). I just moved from Charlottesville, a lovely, woodsy, artsy, beautiful town in its own right, which I love deeply. But, I can find myself already falling for your town! And the words, New England–I don’t even know where in NE your town is, but I’m ready to move there. Thanks for sharing your life!

Goodness, that Bean is adorable!
Whenever Pearl hasn’t pooped in a day or two we walk around on tiptoes, knowing she’s a ticking poop-bomb. Then, the post-poopy bath, carrying the baby at arm’s length to the shower… The first time her dad got poop on his hand he acted like he was going to DIE, lol, it was great.
