Retail therapy:

Aren’t these wild? I want one… These 3 designs pretty much sum things up for me tonight. I’m feeling a bit edgy & intense. Ready for the weekend. Ready to skip the day’s headlines that clatter down on my brain like small pebbles dropped from a highrise rooftop. I can’t help every once and a while getting good and riled up about the state of global affairs, and particularly this country’s involvement in certain middle eastern ventures that seem to be undeniably about oil, despite the politicking about democracy.

Any fun plans this weekend? Like you, I could use a break from the media. I had a bit of downtime at work this week and kept reading stuff from the NYT website. The only positive thing I read was about the new High Line park in Chelsea (similar to the one in paris–a park built on an old elevated rail line).
In better news I made a good dinner tonight: canellini beans with caramelized onions, a little lemon juice, fresh thyme, and goat cheese served on romaine.

Yeah, I like the first one especially. They would make good t-shirts, too.

Lucinda–they ARE t-shirts! Check them out! They’re by a whole bunch of different designers. So inspiring & funky.

I am drawn to the first one too! I just keep going back to it and looking at it, but I’m not sure why!
