Even though I was heartbroken everything worked out for the better -- we found a different house that we now call home, a home that provides space for Stryder and Makenna (the other home wouldn't have allowed this space) and a neighbourhood that is absolutely wonderful. We've made friends that we would have never made if our first house offer had been accepted. It's like the universe knew our future and put us in the space that we needed. We went through the same ordeal two years ago and in the end we lost the house.
