Alas, I have no house wisdom of my own, but will hold out hope for you - and giggle that my fairyblogmother, E, has so taken you under her voluminous pink angel wings.

And the photo! Leaves me breathless.

We went through the same ordeal two years ago and in the end we lost the house. Even though I was heartbroken everything worked out for the better -- we found a different house that we now call home, a home that provides space for Stryder and Makenna (the other home wouldn't have allowed this space) and a neighbourhood that is absolutely wonderful. We've made friends that we would have never made if our first house offer had been accepted. It's like the universe knew our future and put us in the space that we needed.

Took six months for us to get this place. Had it happened when we wanted it to, we wouldn't have had the funding like we thought we would. Trust in the universe on this, girl. It will go exactly as it is meant to be. Pinky swear!

What a bummer that your offer wasn't accepted. But what BP says up there is SO TRUE. We went through the same thing when we were househunting and then through the decision to build and the wonderfulnightmare that housebuilding is. Hang in there, sweetie!

i've got to tell you
that if you went back and read my blog
at the very beginning
you would read yourself in my words
because we so went thru then
what you are now
and it is soooo debilitating...
all i wanted to do was sit and daydream
and doodle and write
i was in a total state of flux
and we had a lot of ups and downs too
but eventually, it all came thru...
i hope the same happens for you,
its such a stressful time...
its actually the very reason i even
started a blog, just to vent and rant
about the stress of it all...
good luck
