The shape of daily life.

Wednesday::

Posted on | March 5, 2008 |

I woke up in the middle of the night to a nosebleed. In the dark I could imagine the color, my cupped hand already filling, reaching for tissues.

In the morning an ice storm, a two hour delay, lingering over coffee.

At school, everything out of routine, topsy turvy, but we’re talking about poems and poems make anything better.

In the evening the sky was navy and threatening, but then suddenly each twig and branch was gilded with light.

Project runway ended. It made me happy.

What is your midweek like?

    Usually it sees me meeting up with my 65 yo guitar teacher for lessons. This week it saw me with a scarf around my neck, sipping on honey tea (with a splash of red wine in it), nursing a sore throat and swelled up sinuses. Ugh.

    Midweek I also have daydreams of Friday night, lounging on the sofa with my DH, getting a foot massage while watching netflix’d (old) Dr. Who with the subtitles on so as not to wake the little-you-know-who upstairs.

    I KNEW KNEW KNEW I shouldn’t have come here before I got a chance to watch it - I also t-vo’ed it. Ah … oh well. At least I still get to see the drama.

    My mid-week is being spent warding off the dreaded Braxton-Hicks that just keep getting stronger. This kid better stay put - I am not ready yet.

    CRAP. Totally didn’t even realize I spoiled it for some of you. Hereby deleting all clues for anyone who hasn’t yet watched.
