You've written this so beautifully; from the birds (you know the names of the winter ones) to the cat to the cold floor. I am in tears again. Hope you find something green and electric this weekend.

You write so beautifully! I'm sorry you feel the way you do now. To quote Tom Petty, "the waiting is the hardest part". Maybe a vacation some place tropical? Isn't it crazy how we bump into each other? Thank you for sharing so beautifully that struggle between souls and ourselves.

What imagery in your words! The weather in the Midwest closely mirrors yours I think. For years I have wanted to write about and perhaps photograph the seesaw of winter and spring. I have always marveled how we can have a school-closing blizzard one day and then unseasonably warm no-coat weather just days later. More than anything I know that this time of year I get sick with something dreadful...the changing weather does that to me even after I endure being around sick cooped up students all winter!

I too feel restless...so ready for spring too! Can't believe Easter is just days away.... Thanks for your post!

My heart just swells when reading your thoughts. I'm amazed that certain struggles in your life are equal to my own. It is hard, waiting, wondering, not knowing what is ahead.

Please explain the text at the bottom! What a riot! Outrageously cool!

Your words are so true and so familiar. I know that feeling of being hurt, but wondering why, and of needing to be held all night long. Spring is coming - hoping it warms your body & soul!

Spring might not be here yet, but your post was worth the wait. Beautiful words, as Beth said.
