I forgot to tell you I bought a NOVEL by Annie Dillard last week, and she has another one out that I haven't found yet. When I get home I shall once again re-read my favorite book of all time, just because of you guys. Why, WHY must we all live so far away? *sigh*

It's always so good to escape with kindred spirits! And BP lives in a gorgeous gorgeous part of the world; I'm so jealous you got to see it up close (again)!

Well, you ARE soul sisters, to be sure. You are a lucky girl to have spent time with such lovely women - it makes me happy to think of the three of you together, giggling and talking over things -

Oh! And I've been meaning to tell you...I saw somewhere in some magazine that Isabel Allende has written another memoir...sort of life after Paula...must go find it on Amazon but I thought of you because I know you love Paula, too. I really like Allende's nonfiction better than her fiction, perhaps because that's what I read first.

you have to come back with your "T" and Bean. And, I may even come to YOU because I just miss you so much. I'm going to the library today to get a copy of Pilgrim at Tinker Creek and Paula--- those children you teach--- they are the luckiest spirits on the planet. You are a goddess.
