Wow, have an awesome trip! You deserve it. Hopefully you will find relaxation, inspiration and time for just you and DH to spend some quality alone time.

Have a glorious time!

Two summers ago, my now-husband and I went on a trip to the East Coast, the trip where he was going to ask me to marry him. I washed all of my tweed sportcoats and dried them: with a black pen in one of the pockets. The entire dryer was covered in black smudges, as were all of my teaching clothes. My mother had come that morning to dog and garden / house sit, and I was totally spaced out from the destruction I wrought on our house and my inability to do more laundry for the trip.

So I know what you mean.
